Functional Plant Material Exploration DX Platform PDIII

Contains 320,000 vascular plant species worldwide. Its information collection and search system, oriented toward drug discovery and functional food development, enables comprehensive and efficient extraction of plants possessing targeted pharmacological actions or functions.
This time, we have built the next-generation PDIII, enhanced with a pre-search function for greater user-friendliness. This update enables efficient exploration of useful plant materials.
Furthermore, in response to requests from companies and other entities, we can comprehensively and efficiently provide “information on plant materials serving as seeds or raw materials.” This is achieved by leveraging PDIII, Kumamoto University's unique insights and know-how, and existing information resources.
